Overview GovCIO is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to support our team across content development, digital marketing, events, analytics, and communications initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where interns contribute meaningfully to real projects while gaining exposure to marketing and communications in a government-focused organization. This position will be remote located in the DC, MD, and VA area. Responsibilities: Marketing & Campaign Support: - Assist with planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels - Support social media, web, and event-related campaigns - Participate in marketing brainstorming and content planning sessions Content & Communications: - Write and edit copy for website content, emails, and marketing collateral - Assist in creating image and video content for marketing and communications channels - Support drafting and editing of basic communications materials, including internal announcements and press release drafts Digital & SEO Support: - Assist with website content updates and basic SEO optimization - Help manage content tagging, keyword usage, and performan...
