ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): · Availability by telephone for consultation. · As requested, provide consultations for NEBH in patients with psychiatric needs. · Attend patient care conferences when requested. · Consult via telephone with Nursing, Case Management, Medical Staff and Affiliated Medical Staff as requested. · Answer pages from NEBH by telephone within 60 minutes (Monday to Friday 7: 30 a.m. -6: 00 p.m.) · Provide NEBH with vacation/travel schedule. · Arrange phone coverage when not available because of vacation/travel. · When requested, provide on-site consultation within 24 hours of requested consultation. · 1 hour education conferences every 4 months for members of the Hospitalist Service (hospitalists, nurse practitioners and physician ass...
