Job Summary .Aptive seeks an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in finance to support the senior level officials at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The SME provides senior-level advisory support to senior VA leaders, delivering expertise in federal financial management, organizational design, and governance to support enterprise transformation. This role serves as a trusted advisor to program leadership, guiding the development and implementation of a standardized, integrated VHA Finance organization aligned under CFO authority. The SME leads financial assessments, advises on consolidation and optimization opportunities, and ensures alignment with federal financial regulations, internal controls, and Department of Veterans Affairs policies. Primary Responsibilities: The SME is responsible for providing strategic insight and technical guidance across key finance transformation activities, including workforce and manpower modeling coordination, governance framework development, and implementation planning.
