Title: Relief Occupational Therapist State Role Title: Therapist III: Hiring Range: $40.00 - $56.00: Pay Band: 5: Agency: Dept of Veterans Services: Location: Davis & McDaniel Vet Care Ctr Agency Website: www.dvs.virginia.gov: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: Establishes skilled OT treatment plans for residents; conducts skilled OT services to residents once treatment plans are made including but not limited to; physical agent modalities, therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, ADL training, positioning and uses of orthopedic and adaptive equipment. Passes residents on to therapy assistants for treatment and supervises and collaborates with assistants on ongoing basis throughout treatment duration. Completes all required documentation in accordance with departmental agency and state policies; completes all required documentation related to Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement in accordance with departmental and agency policies. Ensures assessments are completed within established timeframes and that cost information is forwarded to the appropriate sources in a timely manner.
