Overnight Security Guard/Behavioral Health Associate (11 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job description

Qualifications: Security Oversight: - Monitor facility premises to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and property. - Conduct regular patrols of the units and common areas, maintaining a visible presence. - Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, following established protocols. Staff Support: - Assist nursing supervisors and BHA 4 in nightly operations and patient care. - Collaborate with the nursing team to address patient needs and staff requirements. - Act as a resource for staff and patients in the absence of hospital directors. - Required to cover 1:1 observations on patients occasionally if directed by supervisor, and also round the unit(s) and check on patients individually with electronic checks IPAD Supply Management: - Replenish units with necessary supplies, including medical and personal items. - Stock utility rooms and ensure that all areas are adequately supplied. - Manage and deliver the overnight tray of snacks and refreshments to the units.
