Description Work Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Work Schedule: Mon - Fri (On-call rotation) Work Location: 919 Mission Rd., San Antonio, TX 78210 Mission: The mission of Catholic Charities is to provide for the needs of our community through selfless service under the sign of love. Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for up-keeping and maintaining repairs of the agencies buildings, vehicles, grounds and equipment, and other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor. Position Responsibilities: · As a Seton Home employee, attendance and successful completion of a 10-day New Employee Orientation is mandated for the position. The inability to meet this requirement will conclude employment with the Agency. - *Complete work orders and process them. Work cooperatively with staff to schedule and complete repairs. - *Inspect all buildings and facilities and initiate repairs as needed. - *Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing. - *Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. - *Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable...
