Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Maritime Systems Division in Long Beach, MS. This role supports the development and integration of advanced shipboard marine power systems for next-generation manned and unmanned maritime platforms. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in marine electrical systems and proficiency in AutoCAD for schematic and layout design. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop shipboard electrical power systems, including AC/DC distribution, switchgear, and control systems - Create and modify electrical schematics and layouts using AutoCAD - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate subsystems into maritime platforms - Support prototype development, testing, and field deployment - Conduct verification and validation activities for marine electrical systems - Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test plans and reports - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - 3-5 years of experience in shipboard or marine electrical systems - Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and docu...
