School Social Worker

Job description

We are looking for a talented School Social Worker for the school year. Hourly Rate Range: $39.00-$56.00 per hour - Maternity Leave - In-person School Social Worker - Schedule: Full-time | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with some flexibility) - Grade Levels: 4th and 5th grade students - Caseload: Small class Responsibilities would include: - Provide social-emotional support and counseling to students in individual and group settings. - Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans. - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans to support student success. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns. - Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing trauma or significant life challenges. - Connect students and families with community resources and social services. - Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines. - Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and behavioral intervention planning. - Educate and support teachers and staff on ment...
