The hourly rate pay for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $25.95 - 35.05 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Scotts Miracle Gro team in Geismar, LA! What you’ll do in this role: - Troubleshoot and perform repairs and maintenance on parts of equipment including machines including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic repairs. - Repair production line equipment including conveyor belts, packaging equipment, grinding equipment and stacking equipment. - May perform or assist in the installation of machinery and equipment. - Cut and welding, including light steel fabrication. - Inspects and adjusts equipment. - Assist in diagnosing malfunctions in machi...
