Position Overview At Titan ICT, the Telecommunications Technician holds a crucial role in being responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems and associated infrastructure on our client sites. Due to our significant growth, we currently have roles available in Dalby and Mackay. These roles ensure reliable and efficient communication services by supporting a wide range of technologies, including fibre optic and copper cabling, wireless and radio systems, network equipment, and power systems. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Commissioning: - Install and configure telecommunications equipment such as switches, routers, cabling, antennas, and radio systems. - Perform fibre and copper cabling, termination, and testing. - Commission and integrate equipment into existing networks. Maintenance & Repair: - Conduct routine preventative maintenance on network equipment and infrastructure. - Diagnose and repair faults in cabling, power systems, and telecommunications hardware. - Perform software and firmware updates on relevant systems.
