Job description

Job Title: Controls Engineer: Job Summary: The Controls Technician supports the sustainment of automated control systems in a high-volume CNC machining environment. Responsibility: Assist engineering and operations teams in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical control systems of CNC mills, robots, conveyors, presses, and other integrated equipment. Train plant personnel on the technical aspects related to the use of new/rebuilt machinery and automated equipment. Troubleshoot and repair down equipment. Navigate ladder logic in both Allen Bradley and Siemens Controls. Conduct general parts research as necessary. Analyze and resolve machine and conveyor problems. Resolve quality issues and assist with implementing corrective actions. Participate in equipment run-offs as part of the engineering review process. Perform other duties as required by the direct supervisor. Academic/Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Background in engineering preferred. 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting AB, Siemens, and Fanuc platforms Required Skills/Experience: Knowledge of wiring standards and ability to work with 24vDC through 480 VAC, 3-Phase.
