Role Overview The Service Repair Engineer is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and testing of Audio Visual and LED display equipment within Creative Technology’s rental inventory. Working closely with Operations, Technical Managers, On-Site Engineers, and other Service Engineers, the role ensures all equipment is maintained to the highest technical, safety, and performance standards. The objective is to guarantee reliable, project ready equipment that meets client expectations and supports operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Technical Repair & Maintenance: - Diagnose, fault find and carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on LED displays and a wide range of professional AV equipment. - Perform board level and component level repairs, including manual soldering and hot air rework techniques. - Maintain and service power distribution systems, including 400V three-phase systems. - Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to minimise equipment failure and downtime. - Carry out firmware updates, configuration checks, calibration, and performance testing where required. - Undertake minor mechanical fabrication and modifications using worksh...
