Job description

This position is working in the Ice Cream Freezer Warehouse scheduling pick-ups, coordinating production, filling orders from load sheets, handling containers of ice cream in various sizes, novelties, and other miscellaneous frozen products. Loading product into packers, carts, delivery trailers, and trucks. Use of hyster/forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, packers, shrink wrap rolls, lifting up to 50 lbs and paperwork. Most of the shift is normally spent in -20° F environment. $26.02 - $28.91/hr Essential Functions: - Improve pulling and loading efficiencies. - Be able to lift at least 50 lbs. overhead. - Manage employee work schedules. - Manage the way orders are pulled to achieve the most efficiency. - Assure trailers are loaded and sent to the cooler in a timely manner. - Make sure all paperwork is filled out and turned in properly. - Accurately maintain monthly inventory. - Assure the ice cream freezer is properly rotated. - Assist and provide input on employee performance reviews. - Maintain employee morale.
