Title: Aquatic Ambassador (S) CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CLASS: Under the immediate supervision of the Monthly Natatorium Instructor, ensures the safety and supervision of patrons at Park District beaches and aquatic facilities. Performs related duties as required. Focus on improving patron’s experience on the beach. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: - Enforces beach rules and regulations regarding all activities occurring on land. - Performs maintenance duties to keep area clean, safe and attractive. - Assists in responding to emergency situations on the beach in accordance with established methods and procedures. - Administers first aid, CPR as necessary. DESIRABLE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Training and Experience: Completion of a least two years of High School is recommended. Certification Requirements (Must have all prior to first day of work): American Red Cross First Aid or equivalent, American Red Cross AED or equivalent, American Red Cross Oxygen Administration or equivalent, and American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens Training or equivalent Classes will be offered to meet the requirements and applications must pass.
