Part-time, on-call Campus Building Attendant. Schedule will vary and be based on department and Academy needs. Wage: $18.00/hr increasing to $19.23/hr on 7/1 Provides monitoring and visibility to ensure the protection of academy buildings and the personal safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors to campus buildings to include gymnasium complex, administrative buildings and parking areas during scheduled open hours and academy events. Key Accountabilities: - Maintains a pleasant demeanor while providing a presence in the main hub areas, main entrances, and parking areas of administrative buildings and athletic facilities. - Assists visitors, by providing directions and access to assigned areas of the campus. - Makes periodic contact with building staff and continuous circulation, throughout assigned campus buildings. - Ensures that visitors, spectators and/or participants are in their appropriate areas. - Prohibits unauthorized access to the areas not reserved or open to the public. - Assists in securing the facilities when appropriate. - Understands and employs standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in carrying out duties and assignments. - Responds to any situation that thre...
