SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The ideal Carpenter Assistant would be an experienced woodworker with experience in creating high-quality wooden structures and will be able to work independently and as part of a team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Must be able to perform light carpentry and surface preparation including putty filling and sanding - Assist Carpenters, Cabinet Makers, Wood Carvers as needed - Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols - Maintain a professional appearance and personal hygiene to ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant working environment. - Assemble units squarely and within dimensional tolerances TECHNICAL SKILLS: - Working knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and procedures, including proper handling and application for various projects. - Pro...
