The Department of Endodontics seeks a full-time non-tenure Open Rank Professor and Pre-Doctoral Director of Endodontics. The Pre‑Doctoral Director of Endodontics provides direct supervision, instruction, and evaluation of pre‑doctoral dental students in all didactic, pre‑clinical, and clinical simulation endodontic settings. The Director oversees and coordinates the teaching activities of full-time and part‑time faculty involved in pre‑doctoral endodontic education, ensuring instructional consistency, faculty calibration, and adherence to departmental standards. PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES: - Provide didactic, pre‑clinical, and clinical instruction in all aspects of endodontics to pre‑doctoral dental students. - Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of the pre‑doctoral endodontic curriculum, ensuring compliance with CODA standards and alignment with best practices. - Oversee the simulation laboratory, including instruction, calibration, assessment, and continuous improvement of teaching exercises. - Deliver engaging and updated lectures, seminars, and case‑based learning sessions in endodontics.
