Purpose of the role The Career Specialist plays a key role in supporting people with disabilities to achieve meaningful, sustainable employment. This role works closely with participants to understand their strengths, goals and barriers, and provides tailored guidance, coaching and practical support to build confidence, job readiness and long-term career pathways. Through a person-centred approach, the Career Specialist develops individualised employment plans, connects participants with suitable opportunities, and partners with employers to create inclusive and supportive workplaces. The role contributes to positive participant outcomes while meeting program objectives and delivering a high-quality, strengths-based service experience.
