GPC Solar / BESS / DERs - I&C Technician – South Region Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to provide O&M support for GPC R2Gen - Solar / BESS / DERs facilities in the South Georgia Region. (Valdosta & Albany) Note: The successful candidate should expect to have primary responsibilities in the southern half of the state but could be asked to provide support elsewhere if needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of utility-scale PV solar plants, distributive energy resources, and battery energy storage facilities across the state of Georgia. Duties include both monitoring and operation of the assets through SCADA, as well as maintenance activities such as inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of AC and DC systems. Equipment examples include but are not limited to inverters, PV modules, combiner boxes, battery energy storage systems, SCADA systems, plant controllers, metering systems, transformers, switchgear, and RICE generators.
