Job description

The Data Specialist supports the Government Investigations and Takata Outreach teams by managing, analyzing, and validating complex safety, regulatory, and outreach data used in government investigations, regulatory reporting, and recall execution activities. This role ensures data accuracy, traceability, and usability to support timely, high‑quality responses to regulators and to maximize recall completion outcomes. Job Description: - Collect, clean, validate, and organize data supporting U.S. and international government safety investigations, informal inquiries, and Takata outreach efforts. - Support responses to NHTSA and other regulators by preparing data extracts, summaries, trend analyses, and supporting documentation under direction of investigation leads. - Manage investigation‑ and Takata‑related data within internal systems (e.g., DAPIS and reporting tools), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. - Maintain data traceability and documentation to support regulatory reviews, audits, and internal record‑keeping requirements. - Develop routine and ad‑hoc reports and metrics related to investigation status, regulatory timelines, and Takata recall completion performa...
