Req ID 86328 | Gray Court, United States ZF Transmissions Gray Court, LLC Job Description: About the Team: The Supply Chain Manager- Logistics is responsible for developing and managing all functions and strategies within the Supplier Logistics Department at ZF Transmissions Gray Court (ZFTG), a plant with greater than 1000 employees. This individual is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material flow to ZF Transmissions Operations for series production material, as well as the corresponding information flow to all series contract suppliers. What you can look forward to as Supply Chain Manager I - Logistics: - Manage, develop, train, lead, and mentor the leadership teams of material planning, packaging, and supplier logistics developers. - Manage the material planning and ordering process for externally manufactured/purchased parts to provide all internal customers with the demanded parts on time. - Manage a multimillion-dollar departmental budget for inbound freight, packaging, external warehouse, and inventory. - Manage cost saving projects initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing techniques. - Manage the match team, conduct logistics escalation to improve supplier’s performa...
