Job Description The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is seeking a highly strategic, organized, and communications savvy Chief of Staff to support the agency’s Chief Communications Officer (CCO). This role sits at the center of one of the most dynamic communications operations in city government overseeing press, strategic communications, creative services, correspondence, and other functions. The Chief of Staff will serve as a force multiplier for the CCO ensuring alignment across teams, driving execution of high-priority initiatives, and helping translate big picture vision into day-to-day action. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role for someone who thrives in complexity, exercises strong judgment, and can move seamlessly between strategy and execution.
