BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnosis of disease processes and delineation of both normal/abnormal anatomy as well as pathological conditions in areas of the human body. Performs all duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Radiological Technologist. REPORTS TO: - Director—Radiology / Department Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS: Supervisory Responsibilities: NO: Minimum Education: High School/GED Required. Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiological Program. Degree: Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiological Program Minimum Work Experience: Must be a second year student currently enrolled in an accredited Radiological Program. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - Under direct supervision of a registered technologist: Ability to operate varies x-ray equipment, fluoroscopic and auxiliary equipment to produce quality images. - Able to adapt to new programs and equipment upgrades as radiological field advances, effective organizational and time management skills, effective written and verbal communication skills.
