Maintenance Technician- Hospital Setting | The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place | Williamsburg, Virginia About the Job: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the facilities and equipment in an efficient manner to ensure a safe environment in adherence to established facility, federal, state, local and regulatory standards, laws, and policies. Performs routine and specific maintenance services which may include grounds work. Roles and Responsibilities: · Performs daily routine maintenance and repair on the facilities and equipment to include plumbing, sheet rock, electrical, carpentry, mechanical equipment repair, painting, sign making and changing, etc., · Maintains general plant and facilities in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment. · Completes work orders and hazard reports in timely and efficient manner Reports and fix equipment malfunctions or breakdowns and all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to the Director immediately. · Ensures maintenance supplies are ordered, locally picked up or obtained and properly stored in maintenance area. · Follows up-to-date preventative maintenance and repair schedule and comple...
