Job description

Your Tasks: Responsible for Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (EHS Specialist) activities in support of the assigned sites. The employee is responsible for reducing risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety throughout the organization. The EHS Specialist also collaborates with various departments to identify potential hazards, implements corrective actions, and supports ongoing training initiatives. Requirements: - Plan and coordinate all Safety and Environmental Health related activities at the assigned sites. - Ensure that safety processes and procedures are complete and up to date with State and local regulations. - Conduct safety related audits in various environments (offices, manufacturing, laboratories, warehousing, etc.), report findings and corrects gaps as they’re identified. - Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), ergonomic reviews, OSHA assessments, etc. - Manage the site’s hazardous waste program; coordinate hazmat pick up and disposal, signs manifests, etc. - Create and maintain an accurate inventory of chemicals that are held on site with a catalog of MSDSs. - Interact with other sites and assists with EHS related activities as needed....
