BASIS is seeking a Special Education Teacher in the San Antonio Metro Area to join our bright, passionate team for the 2026/2027 School Year! Position Summary: The Special Education Teacher is responsible for overseeing and delivering instructional services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. This includes providing direct special education services, collaborating with general education teachers and service providers, and ensuring compliance with federal and state special education requirements. Primary Responsibilities: - Provide direct special education services in small groups or one-on-one settings to meet IEP goals. - Participate in IEP meetings and ensure timely compliance with all special education regulations. - Develop and implement academic and behavioral intervention plans for students. - Write, develop, and update IEPs, ensuring alignment with student needs, state regulations, and compliance requirements. - Collaborate with general education teachers to implement accommodations and modifications. - Collect and report progress on IEP goals and maintain student data documentation. - Coordinate itinerant service providers,...
