Department School of Nursing Compensation: $95,000.00 to Negotiable Annual General Description/Primary Purpose: The School of Nursing is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing. This position is primarily engaged in providing practical instruction and application of practical knowledge. Position responsibilities will include a 4/4 teaching load. The successful candidate will: Teach in areas of expertise (e.g., Psych Mental Health, Adult Health, Pediatrics, Community Health, Women’s Health and Obstetrics, Research, Leadership) Participate in School committees: Have experience in an active clinical practice as an RN/APRN Perform nursing and community service in areas of expertise Supervisor: This position will report to the Interim Director, Dr. Debra Harrison. Working Hours: Varies: Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role. Required Licensure: Licensure as an advanced practice registered Nurse in Florida, or eligible for a Florida License Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 3, 2026.
