Overview Job Summary QA technicians are responsible for ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance on the harvest, fabrication, and grind floor through monitoring, auditing, and documenting any conformities and nonconformities. Key Responsibilities: - Job requires rotation of tasks (animal welfare, sampling, quality inspections, chemical concentration checks, sanitary dressing audits, temperatures, box tare weights, sampling, and grade changes). - Monitor the implementation and compliance of all food safety and quality procedures on the floor, report deficiencies, take corrective action, and follow up. - Review and accurately complete required paperwork (GMP checks, SSOP corrective action log, and SOP corrective action log) and be held accountable for accuracy. - Conduct pre-op/condensation/swabs. - Perform sanitary dressing and zero tolerance inspections in accordance with the written program. - Aid production in ensuring proper product is retained for USDA dispositions. - Perform finished product inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and collect samples to be sent to lab for analysis. - Conduct animal welfare audits and immediately act on any deviations from r...
