Senior Project Accountant Company: BGIS: Location: Sydney, NSW 2000 Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join our Advisory Services finance team in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Finance Director – Advisory Services, this role plays a key part in supporting the Project & Development Services (PDS) finance function. You will provide financial insight, commercial support, and accurate reporting across a portfolio of projects, working closely with Project Managers and senior stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong project accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Update and maintain Work in Progress (WIP) reporting based on Finance Control Sheets from Project Managers - Prepare monthly client billings, revenue and expense accruals, including supporting documentation - Assist with Percentage of Completion (PoC) calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance - Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in line with accounting policies - Support month-end activities, including accruals, margin analysis, and cash flow reporting - Assist wi...
