Job Description: The Area Service Technician is responsible for various hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community, diagnosing problems and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, flooring, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structure, and appliances. Handles service requests for repairs and improvements of vacant apartments to a market-ready status. The Area Service Technician is a Senior Support Staff member assigned to a specific region or portfolio. Qualifications: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Acts as Senior Support staff to assigned Region/Portfolio to include providing coverage for scheduled vacations, temporarily covering staffing vacancies, and providing training to all members of the team. - Ability to cover any position within the maintenance team to include Lead Service Technician, Service Technician, and/or Groundskeeper responsibilities. - Assists in completion of special projects...
