EMPLOYER: Willis Towers Watson CAC, Inc. TITLE: Caribbean Placing Broker LOCATION: Willis Towers Watson CAC, Inc., 1450 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. DUTIES: Negotiate direct insurance and facultative reinsurance placements with local and overseas (re)insurers, focusing on property and construction projects. Place both property and construction risks for a variety of Caribbean-based projects. Apply subject matter expertise in property and construction (re)insurance placements for Caribbean projects including Natural Catastrophe perils. Coordinate internal resources, such as analytics, contracts, broking support, and client services to provide solutions for our clients. Create presentations for our clients’ senior managers. Negotiation of best terms available from wider reinsurance carriers. In all broking activities, ensure that company, market, and client-related documentation is issued (internally and externally) accurately and on time. Comply with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures, and regulations.
