Job Title: Steel Construction Project Manager – Central PA Location: York, PA Job Type: Direct Hire Shift: 1st Shift Salary: Up to $85,000, depending on experience Travel: 10 to 15 percent local travel required, with mileage reimbursement Position Overview: Manage structural steel fabrication and erection projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Review and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to define project scope and requirements - Coordinate with fabrication shops, detailers, field crews, and general contractors to support efficient execution - Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting as needed to meet deadlines - Oversee procurement and tracking of materials and components to support timelines - Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and provide accurate forecasting - Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety policies - Conduct site visits, lead meetings, and resolve field-related issues such as fit-up and sequencing - Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation - Identify and resolve fab...
