Mechanical Project Designer | Columbia, SC IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Project Designer in Columbia, SC, to support the planning, design, and delivery of mechanical building systems. In this role, you’ll contribute to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design and analysis while coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver code-compliant solutions. You’ll also support project planning efforts—including budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and construction administration—as needed. Principal Responsibilities: Design and analyze mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection Prepare and coordinate design documents (drawings, specifications, and supporting calculations) in alignment with project requirements and applicable codes Select and evaluate equipment and system solutions appropriate to the project scope and performance goals Coordinate with internal disciplines and external partners to support integrated project delivery Communicate with clients and project stakeholders to support requirements gathering, design development, and issue resolution Support project planning activities such as budgeting, scheduling, and work planning...
