Tire Warehouse Team Supervisor

Job description

Position Summary The Tire Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the distribution center including the security of the facility. This position will ensure inventory and shipment accuracy by monitoring and maintaining warehouse systems and databases. This position will serve as a back-up to the Tire DC Manager. This position has been designated as a safety-sensitive position. Duties & Responsibilities: - Provide guidance and supervision to the distribution center associates - Assign daily tasks and duties in a manner which ensures a constant and steady flow of stock into and out of the facility - Train, coach and develop distribution center associates - Comply with and enforce all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard free workplace - Ensure all employees keep work areas organized - Oversee all inventory control policies and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy - Maintain physical condition of the facility - Back-up the Tire DC Manager/Operations Manager when they are out of the facility Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - High school diploma or equivalent is required - Valid driver's license with no DUIs is required - 3 -- 5 years...
