Aviva is looking for Underwriters to join a new team based in Poland. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys assessing risk, making sound underwriting decisions , and delivering excellent outcomes for customers . What will you be doing?: Assessing and underwriting Life Insurance, Critical Illness and Income Protection applications in the UK market, including medical and nonmedical risk, in line with Aviva’s underwriting philosophy, standards, and delegated authority. Delivering accurate, consistent and customer-focused decisions, ensuring a high-quality experience throughout the underwriting process. Communicating via email and phone, clearly and professionally, with advisers, customers, internal stakeholders and UK underwriting colleagues to explain underwriting requirements and decisions. Escalating cases appropriately where authority limits are exceeded or additional expertise is required. Completing Post Issue Sampling of medical reports on previously auto-accepted cases, to ensure accurate outcomes. Contr...
