Spindle Repair Technician

As a spindle repair technician, you will be tasked with rebuilding high-quality Machine tool spindles for customers in the manufacturing industry. You will find yourself surrounded by high-quality tooling, a state-of-the-art facility, and instructional leadership. Scope and Responsibilities: Education/Certification: Skills: - Assemble and repair machine tool spindles - Diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems of machine tool spindles - Disassemble and write clear and concise reports for each job - Use Microsoft Excel to place parts orders - Maintain testing equipment - Keep a clean and safe work Environment - Follow Check sheets to build spindles back to OEM specifications - High School Diploma - 2-year degree in mechanical field preferred - 2 years’ experience in the mechanical field - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Demonstrated problem solving skills. - Exceptional organizational skills - Must be safety minded. - Must have knowledge of hand tools. - Knowledge of spindles and components. - Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
