Job Summary: Receives, sorts, sets prices, packs, and distributes merchandise ensuring all items are processed in an efficient, effective and timely manner in accordance with established Salvation Army policies and procedures and local, state and federal regulations. Sorts merchandise into designated price bins based on quality and condition of merchandise; separates damaged items to be discarded and/or sent to the baler. Maintains a clean, orderly, work environment. Ensures that the sorting area is maintained in a clean and orderly manner and that all equipment receives proper maintenance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to sort merchandise based on price.
