SUBSIDIARY: Turning Points for Children (TPFC) PROGRAM: Food and Wellness Network (FAWN) ROLE TYPE: Part-Time: JOB OVERVIEW: The Operations Coordinator for the Food and Wellness Network (FAWN) at Turning Points for Children handles purchasing and storage of food and supplies; handles requests for service; greets clients during program hours, collects intake information; manages data; assembles packages for families; generates required reports; and provides additional support and data on an as-needed basis. The FAWN Operations Coordinator acts as the on-site task manager for all volunteers while at the pantry. This position reports to the FAWN Program Director. RESPONSIBILITIES: Food Distribution - Manages on-site operations for FAWN pantries and liaises with site contacts when relevant - Orders food weekly, accepts deliveries, and assists with restocking supplies, including the breakdown of large volume purchases - Coordinates the packing of bags for other Turning Points programs and partners - Assists with calls to FAWN inquiring about the program; collects intake data, including name, number of family members, need, etc.; determines eligibility; schedules pantry appointments - Gr...
