Scripps ABC affiliate in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking a dynamic Sports Anchor/Reporter who will anchor our sports segments and tell the stories that matter to our community. This is your opportunity to cover legendary teams like the Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines & Spartans while connecting with the fans who live and breathe Detroit sports. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Anchor sportscasts & sports content. - Research, gather, write, shoot, edit and develop content for multiple platforms. - May report live on location from various sports specials and news events. - Driving engagement on digital and social media platforms, including producing digital-only content. - Perform various community service activities for station, including performing as master of ceremonies for public service events and as host/hostess for station events. - Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
