Job description

Your Role The Healthcare Quality & Affordability (HQA) Research & Development team sits within Blue Shield of California’s Strategy & Health Solutions organization, which leads health transformation, innovation, provider partnerships, and affordability initiatives. This internship supports an applied research project examining the evidence base for AI-enabled clinical tools, with a primary focus on AI-assisted mammography and breast cancer screening. The intern will work with Blue Shield’s R&D and innovation teams to assess the current state of evidence and identify gaps relevant to payer decision-making.
