Job description

Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer II who will be responsible for marketing mortgage loan products, recommending and implementing new products and services that will benefit the membership of Redwood Credit Union. Key Responsibilities Loan File Management: o Deliver exceptional Member service across all communication channels, following RCU standards.o Effectively market all RCU loan programs, including complex products (first liens, home equity, investor properties, etc.).o Take applications via online system, phone, walk-ins, and branch/internet queries.o Manage assigned loans from origination to completion, ensuring files are accurate and complete.o Interpret Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter findings for optimal Member approval and proper credit decisions.o Review title reports and appraisals, resolving issues for compliance and completeness.o Provide weekly loan status updates to Members.o Identify and offer cross-sell opportunities tailored to Member needs.o Approve or recommend loans within established limits.o Track expired, cancelled, withdrawn, and declined loans; update systems and send required notifications.o Collaborate with processors to manage...
