Job description

Position Summary: With team support, oversee development and implementation of behavior support plans for individuals with challenging behaviors. Hybrid position requiring on-site work three days per week. Some travel is required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Leads the process for conducting functional behavior assessments (direct & indirect) - Conducts regular and formal behavior observations across environments and adjusts interventions/plans accordingly. This includes the actual observation, staff interviews, and documentation of progress and observations in clinical notes. - Develops and implements behavior support plans using current and ethical practices of behavior analysis. Requires good writing skills, the ability to meet deadlines, work with others, manage paperwork, and use basic math skills to assess data. - Develops behavioral goals for IEP/ Res Hab. / Day Hab. plan (as applicable) in collaboration with treatment team members. - Creates data collection systems for plans and/or monitor, graph, and analyze data pertaining to behavior plans. - Collaborates with staff pertaining to behavior problems and/or replacement behaviors. - Provides direct care in the resi...
