Performs duties relative to procedures under the direct supervision of the physician and registered nurse. Job Description: Assists in the orientation and education of personnel. Assists in the pre-procedure preparation of the patient, including transporting the patient to the procedure room, hooking up monitors, and ensuring the patient is comfortable prior to the procedure. Responsible for the duties related to transportation of patients. Will be responsible to prepare procedure rooms, assist the physician intra-procedure with biopsies, polypectomies, and assist with post-procedure patient care.
