Job description

Mayo Clinic is seeking an IT Cloud Engineer to help build, operate, and support enterprise cloud platforms that enable secure, scalable, and automated workloads across public cloud and on‑prem environments. This role focuses on implementation, operational support, and automation, working under established architectural standards and patterns. Cloud Engineers partner with senior engineers and architects to deliver reliable cloud and container platform services for application and data teams. The Information Technology Cloud Engineer works to ensure that enterprise cloud solutions are designed, delivered, and supported. May develop internal and external compatibility of the system and subsystems. Develops moderately complex scripts using a tool or combination of tools to automate a task or a series of tasks. Develops and complies with SLAs or OLAs. Documents new or modified solutions, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Writes configuration for cloud platforms leveraging appropriate tools. Collaborates with developers and is responsible for the "Ops" part of DevOps.
