Technician II, R&E - 18248 Description: Technician II, R/E is responsible for effectively performing R&E routine work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C and D checks. What you will be responsible for: - Able to troubleshoot aircraft avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data with minimal supervision. - Detailed knowledge of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. - Understand engineering methodology for systems installations. - Demonstrated proficiency in performing avionics and electrical modifications. - All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: What you will need to be successful in this role: · This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum). · High school diploma or general education degree GED required. · Must have an A&P, FCC license or repairman certificate. · Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR. · Minimum Two (2) years previous experience required. · Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing) The rewards of your career at AAR go fa...
