Purpose of the Role The role of the Security Controller is a dual role spending most of the time in the Security Control Room monitoring CCTV and sometimes on the floor patrolling. The Controller will be in control of the shopping Centre staff distribution, control incidents and sign in and out contractors. Access control and answering the phones when required adhering to the to Two ring rule. To Monitor the CCTV cameras, give access to the site car park where permission is given by the occupiers and Building Management. Collate daily reports for The Management Team. Key Responsibilities: To work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment. To monitor CCTV images of the Centre as instructed by Centre Management. To carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Centre Management. To make sure all daily, weekly and monthly audits are completed and sent over to management once completed. To comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the centre. To ensure that the requirements of the Fire regulations are strictly complied with.
