Job Title: Lab Analyst II - Organics Reports To: Lab Manager: Job Summary: The Laboratory Analyst II is a mid-level analyst position responsible for independently performing complex laboratory tasks, supporting junior staff, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of analytical workflows. This role includes preparing advanced reagents, calibrating and maintaining instruments, troubleshooting issues, and guiding others in documentation and analysis. The Lab Analyst II demonstrates a solid understanding of laboratory methods, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, contributing to investigations and continuous improvement efforts. This position requires knowledge in organic chemistry with 3-5 years of experience with GC, GC/MS, LC, and LC/MS systems. Essential Functions: Performs laboratory operations, including preparation, analysis, quantification of chemicals; prepares standards and samples for analysis, including quality control samples, and reports final results; analyses include microbiology, chemical oxygen demand, specific conductivity, chlorine, solids, turbidity, etc. Documents work performed; maintains laboratory notebooks, recordings, software data, etc. for raw...
