This position is the lead support person for the Municipal Police Academy (MPA), reporting directly to the Director. Accurate and Timely procession of paperwork (instructor and course), strong customer service orientation, and administrative support of the academy mission is vital. This position requires a responsible, self-motivated individual who can function as a member of a team in a high volume and fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility in work scheduled, multitasking, working with frequent interruptions, and meeting defined timelines for assigned tasks. This position provides administrative support to the contracted Law Enforcement Instructors certified by the Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission (MPOETC). including processing of paperwork (instructor and course).
