Job description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and manage detailed engineering execution plans for engineered-to-order end closure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, contract requirements, and manufacturing capabilities. Define and control design inputs and outputs in accordance with ASME Section VIII (Div. 1 and/or Div. 2), client specifications, and internal engineering standards during bid and project execution phases. Lead the preparation, review, and maintenance of engineering design packages, including calculations, drawings, material specifications, welding requirements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and manufacturing documentation. Perform and approve detailed mechanical design calculations for pressure-retaining components, including heads, flanges, bolted elements, sealing systems, nozzle reinforcements, and structural attachments. Ensure designs comply with pressure vessel codes, and customer-specific technical requirements, maintaining full traceability and code compliance documentation.
