What we’re looking for…: About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): - Entry Writer with 1-3 years of entry writing experience - Knowledge of participating government agencies reporting on an entry (ex. FDA). - Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry. - Cargowise experience is a plus. - Prepares customs entries for all import shipments to be submitted to and released from U.S. Customs in a timely manner. - Ensures that all entry packets are properly annotated by using tools such as company profiles, CROSS (Customs Rulings Online Search System), Internet and communicating with the Importer of record. - Creates invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the Billing Department. - Develops and maintains customer profiles based on customer’s entry history. - Coordinates with customers to gather information for entry processing. - Answers any Brokerage related inquiries internally and externally.
